Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Trail in Clarkesville, GA.

Our story, as with most passions, began as a “hobby”. After realizing the pleasures that come from helping others find what we love, our “hobby” has flourished into our little primitive shop in the hills of north Georgia. After moving our hobby to Clarkesville, from the Crabapple area near Alpharetta, GA, we were reminded that primitive lovers like ourselves will seek out and follow any reliable source of “the good stuff”! So with our loyal customers following us, and our new wonderful friends and customers in north Georgia, our business continues to grow and we feel very blessed and grateful.

Our hand hewn log cabin is known to be from the 1790’s and originally stood in Banks County, GA near Fort Hollingsworth. As the story is told, the cabin was a homestead on the Creek Indian Territory line to a Native Indian agent of the U.S. Government. After hearing of its need for a new home, we began discussing possibilities and working with local craftsmen to complete the relocation process to it’s new home in Clarkesville. Filled with the original necessities for an early American homestead it has come once again into its own.

Please enjoy shopping with us on the web or come sit by the fire, enjoy a cup of hot apple cider, and visit with us in beautiful Clarkesville, GA. whenever you can.
